I wrote a little something to cheer up my readers. Sometimes my works appear negative, even when I think they have a positive direction. It’s a little strange, I know, that I often think of things in a backwards way. So, cheer up! You’ve got this! Your trials will soon be under your hefty boot, and you’ll make it through on top.

King and Crown
My empathy once broke down the wall
It kept my heart from reaching down
and picking up the pieces it popped
Broken dreams have dried and dusted up my hallowed hall
I never thought too much
Of my inadequate time away
I’m looking for a new sensation
Just a genie locked away for good
I’m angered for a cheap starvation
Better when I’m battered
I’m lesser and I’m here to stay
Better when I’m battered
I’m lesser and I’m here to stay
What’s a fisherman who lost to the tide
What’s stranger when you already know
What’s a doctor when his patients have died
Write an end to the story you wrote
What’s the service of your new vocation
You hide away from the seeds you have sewn
What’s the problem with loving yourself
You’re a kind of big deal wrapped and tied with a bow
You’re more than you ever could have let down
You’re a reason and a power alone
You’re the kind of man you want in the mirror
Locked and loaded, but with something to show
Away
You’re a old color in a new light
Away
You’re an artifact of money and gold
Away
You’re a king without a knight to his station
Throne and crown
You’re everyone that you want to know
What’s the matter with the life you’re living
You’re afraid that you’ve beaten them all
What’s the measure of the name you’re given
You’ve won it all and more
Your only enemy
Is the wall
