The physical grind is a real thing too. I’ve spent the past couple years in bodily reclamation. Diet, fasting, exercise… There are so many pitfalls to watch out for on the path of self actualization, so it’s easy to lose track of what I want in life. I’m just trying for health and physical freedoms with these endeavors. How about you?

Diet Dyed Design
Cans of brittle beckoning
Preserved a hidden past
The meat and beans another thing
From seasons gone and past
He ate a simple target track
Of protein, beets, and rye
To gain a beefy multi-pack
Where mockery won’t fly
A little man in medium
And hateful of his jeans
To break on through a minimum
And fill up on his dreams
But if he wanted paradise
Like others lie to make
He ought to roll a home-made dice
And never self-forsake

My diet changes have brought me back to my northern roots (and grains). I think I’ll take some time today in nature. That’s what puts my ancestors at ease. My goal in life is to meet them with pride. Anything on the way is a bonus.
