When you’ve been in a long-term relationship for so long, you start taking on some of their attributes. It’s crazy, really. When were certain parts of me morphed to be like them? Was that side of me always the way it is now? How much of me is just me? Well, that’s a beauty and a danger of intimacy, isn’t it? You get so close to somebody, that your lines blur. A little too freaky.
Honestly, while it’s a little cute, I would like to see more of myself. I shudder at the thought that one day I may be more like somebody else than myself.

Fading
Thinkin’
I’m all a-loose in the times I’m dreamin’
But I couldn’t care a dare I’m feelin’
Like I fell up off my feet to the the high-a-way street
I’m stealin’
Somebody else’s cruel identity
Creepin’
I’m just a spider who’s been hidin’ your ceiling
But if my own way was so appealin’
Then we’d have another way
To punch through the clay
The masks we all play
So don’t judge me, hey
I’m
Your cannon
Your loose cannon
And I
Don’t care what you say
‘Cause I’m yours and your name is
Fadin’
For the rules of the grey we’re trainin’
Can’t stop, don’t believe you’re seein’
All the crimes we’ve committed by bein’
But we’ll lose it all again
We’ll lose it all again, hey, hey
Wish I were stronger, so there you
Wish I were better, so there you
Don’t turn around, they see you
Doin’ your best
My hands on your chest
While your best does the rest
Can I get an I-O-U
For the times and the changes that you put me though
Can I get a leave-me-be
For the blockages and errors in my memory
Can I get a hope to cry
‘Cause I cannot be a man without a tear to dry
Can I get an amen
For the king we’re impalin’
