Love Lost Wanderlust

We can’t stop from turning on each other
Flash a blade and fake a grin
Can’t turn a cheek and stay as lovers
Time to face the truth and shed our sin

It’s a shame
To share a bed
Share a name and bear regret
Am I the failure for holding on?

Can’t pretend to fall without you
I’ll forever pull you close
Shed a tear while I’m weak
I’m breaking just to speak

I hear your voice while I’m asleep
And I wake to cold and dark
I dared not look and threw a leap
And it’s tearing me apart

It’s a shame
To share a bed
Share a name and bear regret
Am I the failure?
For holding on!
