All those stories about men never working on their chores, always leaving their work for somebody else to do? Well, let’s just say it’s a lot easier to talk about somebody else’s issues than your own. We all need to pitch in whenever we can, to keep the community and household running. Clap your hands, it’s a silly song about an irresponsible husband!

On the Way

Tarry me
Tarry me
Tarry me home
Tarry me high and lo-w
I’ve much to do at a break-snail pace
Away to home, heigh-ho

On the wa-y
On the wa-y
I’ve got many a life to li-ve fore my wife kills me today

On the wa-y
On the wa-ay!
I’ll take a little longer on the way

I’ve got bills to pay and mouths to feed
Oh friends to meet and pigs to breed
A bag on back of chicken feed
and time’s the only thing I need

But on the wa-y
On the wa-y
I’ve got so many things to do before my wife kills me today

On the wa-y
On the wa-ay!
I think I’ll take my time again today

Fix the ladder, dock a tail
Sell her mother, fetch the mail
Pawn my children to my dad
Or so I’d do if he came back

But on the wa-y
On the wa-y
I’ve got too much to do afore my wife kills me today

On the wa-y
By the wa-ay…
I think I heard her coming down the way

On the wa-y
On the wa-y
I’ve got so many miles to run before my wife kills me today

On the wa-y
On the wa-ay!
I think I’ll keep on living on the way!

The Afters

Well, in all truthfulness, there are so many fatherless children out there. What happens to them? They leave, but to where, and why? Maybe they got into a relationship too early and dedicated to a life they weren’t ready for. After getting into this new life, which they cannot handle, they run out and never come back? Well, I’ll be. People want children so early in their lives, but can hardly handle themselves as is. It does no good to bring somebody into a world you can’t raise them in. Have kids responsibly, yeah?
