Traipsin’ through the halls
He gave us all the same
Had myself a sell
When passin’ by a dame
She wondered if I queer
and what I’d like to do
I answered, “bother dear
I’m nothing without you”

It’s odd when folk label your preferences based on the way you dress. Ever since I was a child, my world encouraged me to dress well. If it’s not a muscle shirt, it’s a button-up semiformal and long pants. I don’t really relax in a graphic tee or shorts. I could never wear flip-flops either, rather wearing no footwear or boots. My all-or-nothing personality led even my family to believe I held same-sex preference. How does that make sense?
