It gets rough. It really does. My grandfather was just in the hospital after experiencing cardiac arrest. He’s a tough guy, but a kind soul. The kind of man I wish to be. He drove himself to the hospital just so he’d stir less drama. Can you believe that? What a gentleman. What a trooper. I work hard on my craft every day to live up to my family name. With patience and perseverance, I will be worthy of his legacy.

Synthesis
A diorama of a life worth living
See the pillows from the window
And a smile forgiving
And if it’s better than it seems
We’re living with the fire in our eyes
And a need for sinning
If I please
Just remember
What they did for me
I’m on my knees
Can’t forget it
Never let it
Take over
Mind numb-er
What’s clever ’bout a life once over
Live better
Get wetter
Love is liquid and I can’t get redder
With this blood
In my veins
I’m enchanted
By the stains
Let it out
Let is scream
Because I’ve got so much to lose
If you know what I mean
Pay a day today to play it hard and get away
I’m losing to the music and amusing all my fantasy
Life is like a little lunchbox larceny
We’re eating while they’re bleeding and they’re feeding on the poetry
Why can’t we
See
What they’ve done to me
Take it honestly
What do you need
For understanding me
My asymmetry
Chalk it up to knock a chip a block over
‘Cause I’m running from a nuisance
Getting overwhelmed under
Kick a mimicry ’cause I see right through ya
If I’m fending off a future
Then I’m bending from the fire

Afterword to Remember!
You’re worthy of the life you live, sure, but you’re also worth more than that. You’re allowed to be happy with what you have, while also reaching for more. Learn that early on, and you’ll go far. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Or at least, don’t listen!
