The sunshine less traveled
Knows less of the road
Knows more of the happy
But less of your load
It comes without hardships
Or that’s how it speaks
It can’t be familiar
With mountains and peaks
It glows without import
And shines on your sill
Untouched by the illness
Unsullied in will
It hums in a whisper
The rhythms you spent
Unworried, unbothered
By letters unsent
It holds its instruction
Professing its fluff
No sorrows tomorrow
You’re already tough
It hears you and listens
Where dewdrops begin
A window to breathe through
It comes from within
